Maryland Home Inspector License Course

State-approved training at about half the price of any other Maryland school — online coursework plus in-person instruction at our Maryland facility.

Maryland's Best Value

Maryland's Most Affordable Path to a Home Inspector License

We're new to Maryland, and we're pricing like it — on purpose. As introductory pricing while we build our name in the state, A-Train tuition runs about half of what other approved Maryland schools charge for the same license outcome.

Maryland requires 72 hours of approved education — including in-person training — plus passing the NHIE and carrying $150,000 in general liability insurance. You'll complete your classroom work online at your own pace, then finish your hands-on training at our Maryland facility at 23600 Three Notch Rd, Hollywood, MD 20636, with Dan DeBoodt, an Air Force veteran and working inspector who leads all our in-person Maryland sessions.

Small Classes, Real Instruction

Because we're growing in Maryland, you won't be one of forty people in a hotel conference room. In-person sessions are small, hands-on, and taught by an inspector who does this work — which means your questions get answered on a real house, not a whiteboard.

Dan's an Air Force veteran himself — and veterans and active-duty students receive 15% off any A-Train package.

Excellent instructors helping all the way through. They will take the time to go over any course lessons that you might feel you need improvement on. I would recommend this school to any up and coming home inspectors looking for a personalized learning experience.

As a licensed home inspector in Louisiana, I went into this class with low expectations, and honestly, this school blew all of my expectations out of the water. Every inspector I was paired with was so knowledgeable and professional. 10/10 recommend!!!
