Additional information for becoming a Home Inspector in Massachusetts
To become a licensed home inspector in Connecticut, you must complete the following steps:
- Applicant must possess either a High School Diploma or GED.
- Applicant must complete 75 hours of classroom training to become approved by the Massachusetts Board of Registration of Home Inspectors.
- Applicant must complete 25 directly supervised inspections with a Massachusetts licensed home inspector.
- Applicant must take and pass the National Home Inspectors Exam.
- Applicant must possess Errors and Omissions insurance with a minimum amount of $250,000.
- Applicant must submit their application with the applicable application fee:
