Additional information for becoming a Home Inspector in Maryland
To secure your home inspector license in Maryland, you must complete the following steps:
- Applicant must possess either a High School Diploma or GED.
- Applicant must complete 72 hours of approved Maryland Home Inspection Education.
- Applicant must complete and pass the National Home Inspector Exam (NHIE).
- Applicant must possess General Liability insurance that covers at least $150,000.
- Applicant must submit their application and pay the initial $50 application fee.
