Additional information for becoming a Home Inspector in Indiana
To secure your home inspection license in the state of Indiana, you must complete the following steps:
- Applicant must be 18 years or older.
- Applicant must possess either a High School Diploma or GED.
- Must complete 60 hours of approved pre-licensing education.
- Note: 12 hours of practical experience and training must be included as part of the 60 hours of approved pre-licensing education.
- Must pass the National Home Inspector Exam.
- Must possess General liability insurance coverage for at least $100,000.
- Must submit application with initial $50 application fee.
